11 photos from Nieman's Flagship Store

Nieman Marcus has an amazing flagship store downtown, where every item and unique display is carefully hand-crafted as if were straight out of Vouge. This one of kind store is the oldest location, built in 1914  & remodeled in 1998 after a fire. Everything inside is truly a work of art! There's also a salon, spa, esspresso bar and a resturant on the 5th floor with a classy bar and upscale menu. All items are impecable, expensive and specifically selected for this destination spot. Surprisingly the staff couldn't be more friendly! I was given a tour of every level- definatley the most amazing store I've been inside, truly a must see! Here are a few pictures i took, but there's so much more to experience!

7 Fun Outfits to Wear Out!

1.) Sequin shorts and a lace overlay top. Trendy and textured- sparkle with sheer lace is ultimately the perfect duo!

2.) A neutral long sleeve with a print scarf. Definitely my favorite combination on any given day. Make the scarf unique with pops of color or your favorite print. Great way to skip accessories and be comfy while rocking something you love!

3.) During the cold winter months, it's all about a statement piece! Throw a LBD on with a great coat & you are set! It can be difficult to rationalize investing in a bright color when it comes to coats or purses... but it's so much more fun!

4.) A metallic tank, matching matte blazer, and vertical pin stripped skinnys. Professional, trendy and coordinated perfectly!

5.) A slouchy long sleeve, with crotchet shorts (or a skirt) and flat boots. Add a few accessories and you have a trendy county inspired look!

6.) Absolutely love this! Pair a high waisted, color infused skirt with any basic tank! Finish off with a moto jacket and over-sized clutch, and you're ready for a great night!

7.) Skater skirts are the perfect grunge/preppy look! Paired with knee high boots- this is the perfect combo to wear out on the town!

7 Perfect Holiday Outfits for Parties!

1.) This perfect combo doubles for date night & holiday celebrations! There's nothing better than a hott red dress, layered under a moto jacket, matching booties, topped off with a cheetah print bag! Ahhhh-maze!

2.) A strapless dress can easily be re-worn under different blazers without others noticing the repeat offense! I love this paired with tights, contrasted with the white blazer. Day-to-night look mastered!

3.) This is my favorite trendy-combo! Black and red tartan tucked into a high-waist skirt is the ultimate duo! Throw some black leggings and a knit cardi with this for a work event. Enjoy the perfect party dressed to thrill!

4.) You can never go wrong in all black- this year take your LBD to the next level. Top off with a fitted blazer, black tights, and black shoes. Or if you can't help to throw a little color in your look, grab red heels and a matching clutch!

5.) Ok we're done with the red & black combos- for now! This is a fun, casual look for any night out. A chevron printed top tucked into any solid skirt is easy and updated! Cheers to that!

6.) A high low neutral dress is great for a special occasion party. It's dressy enough for a formal event, yet can double for a cocktail party. No accessories needed.

7.) A dress in a festive color (like crimson or emerald), accented with leather detail is a edgy way to pull off a holiday look for any event. I specifically love the leather accents at the waist and shoulders. Flattering, modern and festive!

Uptown Rut? 10 things to checkout Downtown Dallas!

1.) Neiman Marcus's Christmas lights! They went up this weekend and they're absolutely amazing- a must see to get you in holiday spirits! Located on Main street- you can't miss it!

2.) Main Street Garden is a park like no other! It's 1.75 acres and includes a cafe, playground, and large dog park. On the other side is a large neon sign that spells P-A-R-K, another spot on Main you can't miss!

3.) Pioneer Plaza's Cattle Drive. This is the largest public open space in Dallas- pictures don't do justice! The area is filled with sculptures, streams and waterfalls. Off Griffin and Young.

4.) Urban Market- Downtown's new (and only) grocery store and more! This three pronged concept is a sushi/salad cafe, organic grocery store, and super chic liquor store. Recently opened by 3 young entrepreneurs that are as tentative as they are nice! Everything is well organized- check it out!

5.) The 10 Nasher Sculptures. I came across this one first, there's a map at each one on where the others are located. Each unique sculpture is done by a different artist- this one is called "Painted Metal". Loving the hot pink arrow!

6.) Fountains, ponds and parks! This pond is located at the Dallas City Hill Plaza, and is so peaceful and unique! There are benches to relax and enjoy a beautiful day. The skyline view is also invigorating from here!

7.) Fun new brunch spots! Most of us have likely tapped into all the best brunch spots Uptown- so move it downtown! This is Wild Salsa on Main- the color graffiti on the outside is so fun how can you resist?! Union Bar is also a great brunch spot to watch games, not to mention $1 mimosas!

8.) Beautiful architecture everywhere! No wonder why you see multiple photographers roaming the streets- the more you walk around, the more amazing downtown Dallas gets! Old churches, banks and business offices are extraordinary!

9.) The Farmers Market- buy fresh produce locally! This site has been around since 1941 and offers a great selection of farm-fresh produce. It's open annually from 8am to 6pm daily. Check out their calendar for extended holiday hours and events!

10.) My favorite part about living downtown are the skyline views that you can catch all over- from rooftop restaurants to public parks. That wraps it up! I stumbled on all these places within a few hours- you can see everything here plus so much more without driving. It's worth a few hours on a beautiful day- you won't be disappointed!
